Shipping policy

At Skyway AC Sales, we proudly offer FREE shipping on orders of $4,000 or more within the contiguous United States. All orders below $4,000 will be charged shipping.  Additional shipping charges may apply for orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and other non-contiguous U.S. locations.

All orders are shipped directly from the MRCOOL warehouse located in Hickory, Kentucky.

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday. Most orders placed before 12:00 PM EST are processed within 1–2 business days and typically arrive within 3–5 business days after shipment. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day. Occasionally, certain items may be temporarily backordered, which could result in additional processing time.

Please understand that once an order leaves the warehouse, shipping transit times are controlled by the freight carrier and may be affected by weather, scheduling delays, or other circumstances outside of our control.


Equipment Delivery & Inspection

When your order arrives, it is extremely important to inspect the shipment carefully before signing the delivery receipt.

Please verify:

  • The total number of boxes or items received
  • The condition of all packaging and equipment
  • Any visible dents, scratches, punctures, or shipping damage

Before signing, remove any wrapping if necessary and inspect the equipment thoroughly while the driver is present. The delivery receipt should accurately reflect the condition of the shipment upon arrival.

Failure to inspect your shipment at the time of delivery may affect your ability to file a freight claim for damage or missing items.


Delivery Receipt Guidelines

If Everything Arrives Correctly

If all items are accounted for and there is no visible damage:

  • Sign the delivery receipt
  • Mark the shipment as “Clear”

If Items Are Missing

If the shipment is short or missing boxes/items:

  • Mark the receipt as “Short”
  • Clearly list the missing items on the delivery receipt before signing

We will work directly with the freight carrier to locate the missing items. Freight investigations may take up to 7 business days. If the missing items cannot be located and were properly documented at delivery, replacement items will be shipped at no additional cost.

If Packaging Appears Disturbed

If shrink wrap is torn, broken, or appears to have been replaced during transit:

  • Mark the receipt as “Wrap Broken”

If Items Are Damaged

If any equipment shows signs of damage:

  • Mark the receipt as “Damaged”
  • Describe the damage and identify the affected items clearly on the receipt

Only refuse the damaged items. Accept and sign for any items that arrived in good condition.

You must notify our customer service team immediately regarding any refused or damaged products so replacement arrangements can begin as quickly as possible.


Important Damage Claim Information

Replacement shipments for freight damage can only be processed when:

  • Damage is documented at delivery, and
  • The damaged items are refused at the time of delivery

If you sign for the shipment without noting damage and later discover concealed damage, you will need to file a claim directly with the freight carrier using your shipment tracking information. In these situations, claim approval is determined between the customer and the freight company.

Skyway AC Sales reserves the right to deny claims for shortages or damages that were not properly documented at the time of delivery.
